Letters to the Editor: Reader wonders why dog owners can’t be bothered to pick up after their pets

It’s incredible that people do not pick up after their dogs, not just from grass or lawns, but from the sidewalks too. And the bad habit seems to be getting worse.

It makes you wonder if these dog owners allow this in their own house. Maybe not, and that’s why it’s out on the sidewalks.

A small investment in poop bags really goes a long way in respecting their fellow humans. May the person who does not pick up after their dog suffer the humiliation of stepping on the dog poop another pet owner did not bother to pick up.
